Project Description:

The Orthopaedic Centre of Excellence contains outpatient accommodation, a surgical facility consisting of eight theatres with supporting accommodation and an education/study centre.

The site footprint forces a vertical layout over eight levels where 2 theatres are provided on an approximately 900m2 site. The building will be accessed via the Guys Hospital’s main entrance through the atrium one of the existing buildings.

The site is located on Great Maze Pond, between the Southwark building to the north and the boiler house to the south, both owned by GSTT.
