Gascoigne East Phase 2

Project Description:

 

Be First and Willmott Dixon Construction are    working together on the development at Gascoigne East Phase 2. The new development will comprise of several buildings of up to 14 stories, including commercial and retail units to provide a bright modern community area. The blocks are connected   to form 3 individual larger blocks situated around new open amenity spaces.

The overall plan is to deliver a scheme that provides:

  • 526 homes & 822 sqm commercial space.

  • Buildings ranging from 4-14 storeys.

  • Communal courtyards.

  • New play space. 

  • A new public park.

The project is situated in a busy area of Barking within 15-20 minutes’ walk from Barking Station and with good vehicular access from the North Circular. It has several schools in close proximity.

Included in the project was the fit out of the adjacent Community Centre. This was a fallow shell built as part of a previous phase and will serve the wider Barking area.
