Shell Tower Southbank

Project Description:

 

The Shell Tower was part of the Shell Centre constructed between 1957 and 1962 and is retained as part of the new Southbank development.  The Tower is 27 storeys with two levels of basement and an undercroft below ground.

 

The project comprised the Internal refurbishment of windows to each floor, Façade clean and roof repairs. 

Lift refurbishment, full replacement of Lift 38, upgrade to all other lifts including shaft lighting, new cables, control panels etc. Refresh of internal floor space from level 23-4 in 3 phases. Works to include reconfiguration of office layouts, upgrade mechanical and electrical services, AV, I.T, new gymnasium 

And new catering facilities

  • Occupied Phased Handover

  • CAT B Fitout

  • Asbestos Remediation

  • Working close to the river in river tunnel
