The  refurbishment of the Drama Studio at Merchant Taylors’ School has been designed to create a modern, flexible and inspiring performing arts environment that supports both teaching and student performance.

The project enhances the existing facility through the refurbishment of internal spaces, upgraded building services, improved lighting, acoustics and ventilation, and the integration of contemporary theatrical and audio-visual technologies.

To remain in keeping with the surrounding site, consideration has been given to preserving the character of the existing building while delivering a high-quality learning environment that meets current standards for accessibility, sustainability and functionality.

The completed refurbishment provides staff and students with a versatile space that will support creative learning, performances and school events for many years to come.
