Project description

The Haigh Hall project is an external refurbishment of the Hall, originally built between 1827 & 1840 in Wigan, Greater Manchester.

The works consist of the repair and cleaning of the external fabric including the roofs and courtyard elevations and includes but is not limited to:

  • Addition of new downpipes to improve rainwater disposal.
  • Opening up investigation work and subsequent repair as identified in the submission.
  • Further investigative opening up works and repair where required following the initial investigation work.
  • Removal of modern additions on external fabric – replacing window frame and glazing o Removal of 3 existing ground floor windows and installation of replacement glazed double doors, the profile and design to match existing.
