Project description
Located in the Oxford Business Park (OBP), along the corner of Garsington Road and John Smith Drive adjoining the corner of the Morris Monument opposite the Oxford Factory in Cowley. Trinity by Breakthrough Properties is the flagship Research and Development building in Europe.
The building has a total GIA of 25,448 m² and hosts laboratories, related write-up spaces, and meeting rooms.
The client’s vision is to create a highly sustainable state-of-the-art flexible R&D/life science building, with the aim of hosting state-of-the-art R&D companies with a highly established USP within the Life Science Sector.
The development will accommodate labs, research facilities, and office space, as well as a full suite of curated amenities managed by their in-house teams including a fitness centre and best-in-class facilities to support cycling, electric bikes, and scooters (bicycle sharing, bicycle storage, lockers, showers and changing rooms).
The building will have a ratio of 60:40 labs to office space, allowing for efficient and flexible growth as life science companies evolve. The development is poised to deliver significant benefits for the community, creating approximately 1,000 new jobs while generating an estimated £50m a year for the Oxford economy.
